@Umbrella_Guard Honestly, the only reason I didn't like the female-led movie is that I can't stand Kristen Wiig. She's also the reason I didn't enjoy the Wonder Woman sequel.
Can't imagine I'll watch any live-action tv version.
Do we need that? The last good film I saw about them was Ghostbusters Afterlife.

@Umbrella_Guard The film was a tribute to Ramis and a new story with younger people and a way of putting all the originals back together again. I loved it.
If its been produced by one of the major streaming services like Netflix or Amazon or HBO then good chance it will get the budget and production value that such a show needs. If it ends up on one of the generic networks like CBS or Fox then I'd be more apprehensive that it will end up being very mediocre.
