Boy oh boy some young people these days are quite "enterprising" if that be the correct word.
Since Evangelidiot has, for some unknown reason, ceased nagging and carping about my Pine tree blocking the teeniest bit of late afternoon sun from his solar panels and for some strange unknown reason even left his little Stihl 14 inch Chainsaw sitting proudly in the pine tree when he went for his regular extended rest period after being up in the tree previously and not taking it down with him, well I noticed over the last week or so that a group of between 4 -6 young lads, about late teens in age at the most have been stopping and pointing up in to the very same tree at the spot where the chainsaw is laying in quiet repose.
Well, sitting here now as I have been for quite a while this morning I noticed through the window that the seemingly lightest and smallest of the group was slowly making his way gently across the top of the dividing fence towards the tree and has what looked like a coil of light weight rope dragged over his shoulder.
Instead of going out and asking them questions, I decided to stay in side and watch, especially in case the young lad slipped and may have needed someone to summon medical assistance.
Well, to cut the saga short, the young lad, a young lady as it turned out to be given that she removed her sweater and then her gender became kind of apparent, climbed steadily up the tree, attached one end of the rope to the lonely and abandoned stranded chainsaw, lowered it down to the ground gently and quietly before she climbed back down her self.
Then they gathered up,the saw and the rope and began to walk quite calmly and quietly away.
Yes, camera system caught the whole thing on disc so IF and when the village idiot works out WHERE he left his chainsaw and starts his usual,carry ons I have actual evidence PROOF as to where it was, what happened to it and who now has it.
Though chances of tracing them may be pretty slim given that the cameras only got shots of them in the usual garb of generically similar " hoodies" etc, etc, and even the face of the tree climber was not all that clear imo.

Hope he doesn't decide you've stolen it.

Let him accuse me and then TRY to prove I did it.
And then I will take him to the cleaners good and properly because I have just locked away, safely, the recorded disc with the whole thing on it.

@Triphid Priceless when he finds out.

@Lilac-JadeCanada Yes, I can hardly wait until he does....LOL.

@Triphid Hahahahaha......

@Lilac-JadeCanada Sorely tempted, that when he FINALLY does wonder where his chainsaw has gone, to tell him that a gust of wind blew out of the tree, onto the road and before I could manage to get it a car stopped picked it up and then drove away..
I mean, it is SLIGHTLY believable because these days I can't move around as fast and freely as did a few months ago.

@Triphid There ya go.

He deserves to lose the chainsaw. It now has a new home and will probably be better cared for. lol

Betty Level 8 May 6, 2022

And i memory serves correctly this will now make the 3rd chainsaw he has lost/misplaced or simply misused and wrecked in less than 3 years.
By no means boasting here by I have had my 16 inch Stihl Chainsaw for 13 years and my 22 inch oregon style Chainsaw for 8 years and know exactly where they are all the time.

@Triphid Of course you do, you're a reasonable level headed man. There is a saying that a fool and his money are soon parted. I guess some of his money will go to buying a new chainsaw. lol

@Betty OR, and it will do him absolutely NO good what-so-ever at all, he will PRETEND to be humble, apologetic, etc, etc, and try to BORROW one of mine and STEALIUNG or trying to STEAL one is an almost impossibility because I "re-housed" the specially made steel lock-box that was used to hold the pay documents, etc, etc, plus the fortnightly payroll at the railways until they switched over to Direct Depositing in to employees Bank Accounts.
I can fit my 2 chainsaws in it easily, my tools for the saws, the fuel and chain/bar oil drums for them plus all my safety gear as well and it is bolted to the concrete floor in the storage shed as well.

@Triphid You're well protected. Just don't feel sorry for him.

@Betty As I have told a few people like him that I have the great misfortune to know previously, " IF you are looking for sympathy then check the dictionary, you WILL find it between Shit and Syphilis."{

@Triphid It must be a real challenge being neighbours. I can only imagine the balancing act necessary to just keep the peace.

@Betty Well as to the majority of the rest of those in the neighbourhood we all look out for each other to some extent.
For example, my across the road neighbour, Amy and I often have a chat over the fence or at the gates, etc, I always keep "doggie treats" on hand for when her 2 dogs are out in her front yard and of course, they have now learned to make certain that i KNOW they out in the front yard of course.
My neighbour to my left side, well we worked together for a few years as nurses so we get along quite well.
The Lesbian couple, well they now treat me as "family" and, all except the Evangelidiot and the other 2 stuck-up Arse -wipes, aka Mr (is in fact female) and Mrs Hitler ( who is the male) who deem them as being "deviants and a blight upon the entire neighbourhood."
But, thankfully, no-one sees nor hear much of the family Hitler MK 2.

@Triphid It's good to have some backup. I guess every neighbourhood has it's dark side.
