I am an offensive driver. I prefer to be away from packs of vehicles or ones that are accidents waiting to happen. I avoid open trailers, landscaping vehicles, tractor trailers and idiots who won't keep right accept when passing, or obstruct the flow of traffic by hogging the left lane.

So, I have been driving eco friendly, fuel efficient or fully electric cars. My style my be interpreted as fuddy duddy, but I is designed to be squeezing every ounce of energy out of the car. I accelerate slowly, glide before braking and usually keep pace overall. I just do not try to race from stop light to stop light.

Somehow it seems that when a lot of people get on the freeways a sort of mob mentality kicks in. Everyone is in a rush and want to drive as fast as they can. Even at the speed limit and in the right lane I get tailgaters (I slow down at that point). I give myself plenty of time and never get into a rush. Why add more stress to a life already full of it???

I travel in central Jersey, 85 % of the people here either don't give a shit if they kill themselves or someone else or are too distracted by trying to record things for facebook while driving that they drive like complete A-Holes!!

There isn't a selection for me. Driving to me is like flying -- I treat them both the same. It's all business, knowing the rules of the road but not expecting anyone else to do the same. Understanding my vehicle and knowing its condition. Maintaining full situational awareness at all times -- which means very little talking, no texting, no telephone, very rarely any radio/music. In spite of all that, I enjoy my trips, regardless of length. Oh, and I've never had a passenger complain or need hospitalization.

I’m half as good as I think I am and twice as good as you think I am.

I chose option 2, but I consider myself an aggressive driver. Not always in a hurry and don't have to get ahead of everyone, but not tolerant of indecisive drivers or drivers who have no business in the #1 lane. LOL!

Road saint. My halo is all I need for light at night.

Other: as long as you don’t interfere in my path you do you, I do me, I let in 1 car per merge but bitch I don’t play that zip to the front bullshit.

I drive at or below the speed limit but other rules are optional. I leave for work at 3 am. I don't wait on red lights or stop signs and I haphazardly wear a seatbelt.

Very safe, speed limit, cruise control, full stops, etc.
Hold-over from a 'previous life' muling drugs.
Don't want to get stopped ? Don't give them a reason.

I drive school bus so relaxed (except for yelling at the misbehaving students) and always at the speed limit. Since that is my job I also drive my car the same way. I see a lot of fools on the road.

We'll get there when we get there.

I think I'm a perfectly fine driver but when I was car shopping one of the sales people was riding along with me during a test drive and asked if I was taught to drive by Paul Walker...that was kinda the sign that my mom might be right

I've been known to not turn right on a red if someone behind me is honking impatiently, and to drive extra slow on double yellow roads, for the same reason. I'll probably get shot for it someday. ?

That’s real fun, especially when that person is rushing home to an emergency, day care so they don’t get charged $$$ bank for being late, or to the hospital, etc. ?

Or you cost them a job interview they were going to after work, don’t try to assume you know everyone’s circumstances, try to just be fair and respect the golden rule: don’t be a dick.

I would say I'm not in the list. I'm very fast driver, but if you're faster I'll let you by. I tend to drive faster than most though. I would say that I am safe though as I've probably driven close to a million and a half miles with no accidents.
