Ffs, it's only just 7.30 in the morning and already Evangeloon is at the dividing fence trying to get my attention.
You can be darned sure I will NOT be tolerating this too much longer, I fully intend to seek out information, etc, regarding the obtaining and Issuing of a legal Restraining Order against him and I will be smiling when the Order is delivered into his hands.

I sense you are Royally fed up with his antics. Do you really think a Restraining Order will curb his persistent annoyance? I would guess it might work for a little while but he is unable to respect boundaries.

I will keep my fingers crossed for you. 🙂

Betty Level 8 May 17, 2022

Failure to follow the conditions of a restraining order can result in time spent in the slammer. That is one sure way to get the Evangeloon out of @Triphid's way.

@anglophone With restraining orders for harassment, do they not give out warnings first?

@Betty I am not sure of the details. I am only going on what I have seen in the news.

Anything is worth a try.

@anglophone Magistrates Office opens in an hour and as there is already a record of his behaviours, etc, at both the Courthouse and with the Police I may be able to apply for an Order over the phone.

@Triphid I suspect he is going to be in for something of a shock later today.

@Triphid Nothing is ever accomplished if at first you don't try. 🙂

@Triphid I hope it all works out. The faster the better. 🙂

@anglophone I bet he will try to play the victim to gain sympathy.

@Betty That's the only card he knows how to play. I suspect that everybody in Broken Hill is sick and tired to the back teeth with him.

@anglophone The man is a menace and no matter where he goes, mayhem will follow. Every one of the neighbours deserves a break.

@anglophone As over 1 hour ago and due to my being somewhat confined to home and having a friend or three on the Police Force, Restraining Order has ben drawn up by the Chamber Magistrate and a copy for me and one for the Evangelpest with be delivered personally later this afternoon thankfully.
Also, have already passed the word around the neighbourhood that I have now got on against the Pest and thus far, 3 neighbours intend to make similar applications first thing tomorrow morning.
Unfortunately, this action kind of blows my chances of "relieving a fool of his money and helping the young lad he also ripped off out as well but it was something I had to do.

@Triphid I would love to see his face when he is served. As for his wood-burner...He never would have paid you, so please don't feel bad about the young lad that's all on Evangelpest, not you. I have a feeling you will come up with some idea to help the boy. 🙂

@Triphid I think you had very little chance of getting any money out of him anyway.

@Betty Hey, I'd rather be left without the task of fixing his wood-heater and have in my possession the document I now have that means he cannot come within 20 metres of me, cannot enter my property what-so-ever, must remain at least 100 metres away from me in any Public Place, cannot attempt to contact me, coerce me, threaten me, disrupt or disturb me, my visitors or my peace and quiet in any way plus about 10 other restrictions, etc, as well.
Penalty as outlined on Document = possibly 3-6 months imprisonment plus a $1,680 fine.

@Triphid WooHoo! Now were talking. Make yourself a nice steaming hot cup of coffee, put on your favorite music, and sit out on your front porch, take a deep calming breath and relax.

If your neighbours do the same, you should all have some peace and quiet at last. 🙂

You might want to edit your post: "I will not [my emphasis] be tolerating".

It's about time he was taught some manners and civility, though whether he can learn such manners and civility is extremely doubtful.

Manners and civility! Evangeloon is waaaaaaaaay to selfish and entitled for that. lol

I can almost feel Triphid's frustration. Even the most patient person would have hit their breaking point by now. I have to give Triphid credit for not punching the guy out long ago.

Thanks mate, done and dusted.

Should have been done a long time ago.

I agree 100% but I was brought up to be tolerant unfortunately.

@Triphid Yes, but tolerance should have limits.
