Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.Your senators are in power, because they need the votes of that small minority to tip the balance in their favour. One of the sad effects of many voting systems is that tiny minorities, with single issues often get to dictate to the majority, simply because their few votes hold the balance.
