Well it is not even officially winter here as yet but we have an outside temperature of just 10 degrees Celsius, an icy wind that could easily freeze the balls off of a brass monkey, it IS so cold outside that when I went out there about 6 minutes ago I saw a dog that was stuck to a lamp-post because it dared to pee on it.
It's okay though, a little warm water and he was on his merry way again...LOL.
Just about every house in the area that has a wood fire has smoke coming from its chimney, except one and YOU can guess to whom that house belongs.
Sorely tempted to get my fire going shortly, may even add some nice slow burning Pine logs to it so the scent travels with the smoke since the wind is definitely blowing in the right direction.
No, maybe not, that would be a mite cruel wouldn't it?
Oh what the hell, why not, I'm sure he has a blanket or 2 to wrap himself in, if not then he can sniff the smoke and dream of sitting in front of his no longer working wood-heater.

Enjoy your fire, he had his chance.

Already have set it up and lit it, some nice semi-dried out bundles of Cypress pine needles have been added as well as a couple of not so dried out pine logs as well.
Went outside a minute or so ago and the scent of pine is in the air and blowing nicely to you know where as well.

@Triphid I hope you had a nice hot drink and some relaxing music to go with your fire. 🙂

@Betty Of course I did, a home-made Hot Chocolate with a larger than usual dollop of fresh cream on top accompanied by the cd " Bat out of Hell" by Meatloaf being played on my sound system with my outside of the house speakers hooked up as well and to cap it off I also played the sound-track of the Rock Opera, Tommy which I know for a fact he detests immensely.

@Triphid Enjoy the peace and quiet. You have certainly earned it. Sit back, relax and let your mind wander to all the things that make you feel good. 🙂

@Betty Have been doing exactly that and it feels great.
Had a friend drop by yesterday for an hour or so and I remarked how quiet things were of late.
He then informed me that my neighbour, aka Evangeloon, had admitted himself to the hospital Psych ward voluntarily on last Saturday and will be remaining there for at least another 10 - 12 days until they are 100% certain that the medications he is now under are working perfectly.

@Triphid He is where he belongs. He definitely needs the help. Hopefully when he returns your peace will not be disturbed. 🙂

@Betty Well until they manage to get his Evangeloon mania under control my sympathies are with the entire Staff and patients at the hospital.
did notice yesterday, however, that he has a new "sucker" ( a female) who is now, so it seems, his very closest of "friend", if you get my drift, of either Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander heritage and definitely was NOT merely breaking in to the house.

@Triphid Some people are just attracted to "broken".

@Betty Yes but if you read my post regarding the "development" yesterday then you may see that it seems to have been resolved.

Oh, be cruel, really cruel.

Your wish shall be my command, as it is said so shall it be done.

@Triphid You are so kind.

You are a wicked man! Carry on.

Keep warm!

Am most definitely doing so.
