Oh how I do so much enjoy the sweet aroma of a warming fire that has been started by using a mix of a pine branches, pine needles and Red Gum branches.
The aroma seems to drift slowly through the surrounding areas as the fire starts to warm my house.

So comforting.

And there is nothing nicer than toast made by holding the bread on a long handle fork over the hot coals as well.

@Triphid Yes, was a ritual when we camped.

And a cat that adores to sit on my lap and purr when I am using this computer.

Sorry no cat for me, but I do have "Cloud" the budgie who seems to truly liven up once the fire warms the room though.

"Cloud" the budgie.
That's her on the left the other is NOT an actual living bird, it was put in the cage by my nephew, Henry, so Cloud would not get lonely.
