Just realized that it IS June and not December, BUT why did Santa decide to make a very early delivery of joy is what I'd like to know.
About 30 minutes ago I was going out to feed the birds that come to my house for their daily free meal/s.
As I exited through the front door I heard a couple of raised voices, one seeming to be extremely angry and the other just being kind of bombastic.
I take a look across the fence and see none other than Evangeloon being confronted by a very tall, heavily built looking bloke who really shout and not in a very good manner/language either.
" You low-life scum-gutted mongrel bastard," shout the angry bloke at Evangeloon, " Took $250 off my Grandmother for supposedly " cleaning up her yard, gardens and trimming back a couple of plants, worked for an hour the first day, filled her rubbish bins instead of you removing the rubbish as you said you would, came back a week later, did exactly the same thing and when she confronted you and asked for a half of her money back or the job to be completed that day, you told her that you had already spent the money she gave you and "you only work an hour a day on only Tuesdays and Thursdays, so shut up you ugly old Hag."
"Yes, that is what I said," answers the Evangeloon in a very smug sounding tone, "so what are you going to do about, come on now, give it your best shot, I can hire a Lawyer as well you know."
I guess what came next was most certainly NOT what the Evangeloon was expecting because from almost nowhere came very straight, full on punch to Evangeloon's abdomen and the sound of the impact was quite audible to me on my front veranda, Evangeloon folded up kind of like a wet sail and headed face first towards his front veranda floor while his "visitor" turned and started walking away shouting, " Oh and this is NOT the end of it either I know of at least a dozen husbands, fathers and even a few women who are after you for much the same thing, so maybe they won't be as kind to you as I have been when they catch up with you."
Hmm, I guess Evangeloon's heavenly protector, Jeebus, must have been having a sleep in or busy else where this morning.
