Lymes Disease? I tested positive a few years ago and took the medicine. Being one who loves the out of doors, I would not have known but only on a whim did I request the test with my regular blood work. This year when I went to get my Blood Test I asked about it being included and they said it wasn't requested. When I called and asked my HCP why they told me that it would probably read positive being I had a previous positive reading and that if I wasn't having any symptoms not to worry about it.
Some one told me that Lymes disease is generated by the pesticides that they put on the crops and when the deer eat the surrounding foliage that is where they pass it on to the tics who host off of them. Anyone have any other input about this or where to find out what they apparently don't want to disclose.

Please request another more specific test. The symptoms of Lyme's disease can manifest years later.

I have that request in and have also consulted other medical associates outside of my PCP for consultation concerning the matter. Thank you for this input.

You've been misled. The causative agent of Lyme disease is a bacteria, Borrelia burgdorferi, NOT pesticide.

there are many (conspiracy) theories out there like Lyme disease was caused by the accidental release of military infected ticks in CT (I believe). Never heard of this pesticide angle and I can't really figure out how that would work. It appears that this disease is very old (apparently they found that Otzy (the iceman they dug out of the alps).
The most likely origin is that it's an endemic disease that has mutated more rapidly to more readily cause diseases in human or ticks are more abundant due to an increase in the deer population resulting climate change (warming weather marching North).
It has been seen with West Nile virus in bird and Africanized bees are also moving north.

Last year I heard about large numbers of deer dying from 'blue tongue' disease that supposedly wiped out large numbers in a certain area. I have often wondered of all the hunters who live off the land if they have ever all been endemically afflicted from the meat. I am afraid of what is in the meat we get at the stores as the quality of what is served at Mc D's and Taco Bell is varied by significant numbers. I'll leave Wendy's and Checkers to the populace to decide.

Conspiracy theories are not relevant. Just as we don't believe in a God, we should rely on science and the scientific community to provide accurate information.
