How to lose a friend. I have/had been friends with this girl all thru grammar school and one day after my husband died I asked if she wanted to go to a camping world show cuz I'd rather not go alone. She said, "Get used to doing things alone, your husband died" I was looking for companionship not a sexual relationship; she said 'no thanks'.
Her son committed suicide and I called to say I was sorry to hear it, my son grew up with her sons. I also mentioned i thought she was being mean to me the first time i called when i was checking for friends. She somehow connived to turn that around and blame me. Like WTF? Manipulation maxified.
What can I do to restore the friendship? If anything? Just bypass her?
