Why aren't conservatives scared to death of climate change? Because they're living in DENIAL.

From experience there are a number of equally ridiculous reasons

1. Climate change would indicate that god makes mistakes, god does not make mistakes therefore there is no climate change.
2. The measures required to combat climate change would be expensive and counter productive and therefore must be anti-capitalist and pro communist and fake.
3. Since when are rising temperatures a bad thing, we go on vacation for hotter weather after all.

4)Heating in the winter and air conditioning in the summer can only be good for profits
5) There is still snow in the winter therefore rising global temperatures are a nonsense
6) A 3 degree in temperature is nothing, it is not even a fever. Call me when it is 100 degrees.

You would think they would be worried about their children and further descendents.

I also don't understand -- unless it's evangelism(I don't understand that either) or nihilism.
