It's mind boggling to see this image. I still can't wrap my head around how long the Earth has been here. Look at the age of dinosaurs and look at age of us humans. Evolution has been very slow but steady. It always finds a way.

We are a work in progress (I hope).
I recently took a couple of geology classes and it really is fascinating to see how long the Earth has been around. This is a good video that show how the Earth itself evolved into the planet it is today.
@ballou I love stuff like this! I’ll save to watch later. 
Wow, humans haven't even been on Earth a full two minutes and look how badly we've messed it up.
