I know it's not the same in every town or city but where I live what policing is and what it should be are the same. I imagine that couldn't be said now in places like NYC, or Chicago.

I plainly said LE HERE where I live is what we think it should be. I never said policing is what it should be regardless of where you (or I) live. Don't put words in my mouth.

How you're treated by police ABSOLUTELY can affect one's opinion of the police, and skin color ABSOLUTELY can affect how one is treated by the police. Maybe you don't think the color of your skin has anything to do with your opinion, but maybe that's only because your skin is white...

@Captain_Feelgood I never said you were a racist. I was saying that maybe your perception of how good and fair policing is may have something to do with the fact that you're not a member of a group that has been historically discriminated against by police.
