Most ridiculous memory you have of Childhood Sundays?
Mine is having to wear my cousins dress and shoes the next morning on a sleepover and being berated by my aunt because, "why didn't your mom pack church clothes? WE ALWAYS WEAR OUR BEST FOR JESUS".... We never went to church and I grew up on a farm. I was lectured and introduced to everyone there.

I didn’t have a hat and had to put a Kleenex on my head before I could go into church.

Every Saturday night we would watch Lawerence Welk while my mother put curlers in our hair--they were so tight it pulled my eyes up--then we couldn't sleep all night and woke up with a headache. When we complained we were told it was good to suffer for Jesus.

A fellow altar boy (yeah, I was an altar boy), keeled over from a kneeling position due to heat, dehydration, like that. I never saw anybody just collapse like that. I think it was a may day bvm thing. His eyes rolled up into his head. He was ok, though. He lived, had a life.

Fucking Sunday school. I didn't like normal school.

Watching my mother get faith healed and her pain went away only for it to come back when that church didn’t suit her.
