@Beowulfsfriend That's a bummer. Feeds my attitude toward educational funding so that feels kind of neat. People want this kind of shit "schooling" and many Charters have wormed their way into public funding. Since we can't stop it let's overwhelm it by changing our entire system. Encourage co-op schools, many will be owned by teachers and Principals, and fund them all equally for start-up. After that their funding is dependent on student numbers. I think the non-religious schools will be favored by parents so the religious one's will suffer (maybe close). Declare that no school can accept outside funding (so all educational methods have equal market value) and we solve even more of the power play.

@rainmanjr that is kinda what Norway already does I think. All schools are publicly funded and none are allowed to be funded by outside donations. Also I think they also do not allow theism to be taught.
