Personally I'm not a big CW fan but she was one of the few I really liked. My Mom was a fan of hers and I have no idea how many of Loretta's albums she had but it was many. I do enjoy watching the movie about her, Coal Miner's Daughter with Sissy Spacek. My ex-wife came from coal mining country in Kentucky so I know many there live a hard life... but I did see a home of a coal mine owner there once, it was a mansion.

She was a little too country for me most of the time but my husband loved her. His birthday would have been yesterday. Silly me I'm kind of glad she didn't die on his birthday.
