No surprise.... We are funding the opposition after all. I am pro peace. That being said, peace cannot be achieved through Imperialism or through Authoritarianism. In fact, I would venture to say, as long as humans exist, there will always be senseless violence and greed. We cannot seem to move beyond the divisions thrust upon us by the oligarches, long enough to unite behind a single banner of peace. There is too much indoctrinated hate instilled in the minds of many to allow any shred of hope for us to be a viable species.

In the end, we all are simply flesh and blood animals that squander away the great gift of reasoning and intelligence, to hold power and control of the masses. Religion is but one tool in the bag o tricks devised by, and used by those humans to supress and subdue the dissenters.

In Putins case, he uses an iron fist and fear, which are also in that same bag o tricks used to control the masses. Nothing new. Nothing extrordinary. These things have been done from the beginning of human existence in some form or another.
