So many get brain washed simply because they allow cults to take control. Some people are strong minded, others not so much and even the strong ones, it sneaks in when least expected.

We need to replace such thinking with solid proofs of the strength and goodness of men and women working kindly and in co-operation which they can test out IN THIS LIFE.
