Has anyone, other than myself, felt the need to alter their Agnostic.com profile due to interactions experienced with other members on this site?

Edit for clarification: I have had a couple of messages from people who seem to be in a hurry to strike up an instant full blown relationship. It made me re-read my own profile to see if I had worded it in a way that might give the mistaken impression that I would welcome that. I didn't think I had, but changed the wording, just in case.

Yes I have. It's cut down pms a bunch, which while ok, since I don't want anyone to waste their time, think it might come off bitchy. Hopefully anyone interested will take note of my comment history and decide from there.

So far, my only profile change has been from a generic photo to my actual photo. No one's harassed me or nicely propositioned me, but that's probably because I didn't reveal much about myself and, more importantly, said I wasn't interested in dating.

Nope. Maybe that's why my messages have dwindled to flat-out desert status.

Describe please? I have met with nothing but kindness & respect on here although i myself can be kind of racy.

@atheist Come to Karaoke, watch me sing either The Trog's "Wild Thing", or Joe Cocker's "You Can Keep Your Hat On".....done!

@atheist. I try......

No, why would I have to? Why did you?

I have, more from having atheist to having agnostic on my "belief" part for many reasons that has been influenced by members. The amount of overt literalist here and absolutist reminded me of why I joined agnostic.com and not atheist.com

@SallyMc no, I mean there reasons why I didn't join atheist.com . I joined agnostic.com

@SallyMc I am more than aware, thank you. I was making a point and you're kinda validating it. I'm sorry you got lost in the semantics of it.

@atheist LOL!! I will say, I just noticed that this Thread is under the 'Love and Relationship' Group. I thought I was posting in the Group 'Real Agnostics'. I would have been a bit more filtered, but my point still stands.

@SallyMc Any chance you recall the original question of the thread, lmao ! And I stated "literalist" not "literalism" quite a bit of a difference. Have great day!

I haven't yet, but I have thought about it.

I think I changed mine to just looking for community. I have reread mine a few times and thought about rewriting it but don't feel a big pressure
