Do you find that people don't get your humor? I see it especially online and think it's not transferred through text.
But I sometimes read a post and laugh at the humor then read the comments and see how literal some people take it.
I am always amazed at this.

Eh, some do, some don’t, doesn’t matter. I use the literal in my humor, like on the egg carton post. I thought I was hilarious, whereas some of you may find it not funny at all. I thought it was and that’s what counts. Then again, what some of y’all find funny, I don’t. Just the way it is.

Great posts... tons of responses.
I have a hard time tuning in on irony in text form. It is mostly because of different geographical context and culture.
That said, Michelle Wolfe last night was hilarious... talk about dry humor!!
