Are there actually any other true political centrists here? If you are, do you think Fetterman is physically/mentally recuperated enough to hold a Senate seat? Are there any true progressive left wing Dems here that wish someone else was running in his place sense the debate?

No disrespect to anyone with a handicap, but would you hire a fire fighter that need to manage a hose and run up stares in a burning building if they were confined to a wheelchair??? They may have some amazing qualities, but that’s not the job for them.
The same goes for someone that needs to think on their feet and communicate what is best for the citizens that they support.

As for your first question, while today's political standards/definitions would place me just right of center, I've long considered myself a classic liberal centrist, or what nowadays would be known as being libertarian. Both extremes concern me. Anyways, as for Fetterman... I'm from Pennsylvania and next month will be able to cast a vote for either him or his opponent Dr. Oz, and as a Pennsylvanian who has been keeping a close eye on that Senate race I could tell you with relative certainty that Fetterman is bad off mentally speaking. The stroke he suffered months back has and continues to affect him negatively, but of course his supporters do not wish to acknowledge that reality. Can't say I trust Oz either for that matter, but at the least he's not mentally defective, so...

The Democratic Party should have found someone to replace Fetterman, but stubborness won out in the end. As for your second question on there being any true progressive leftwing folks on this site, I take it that was just a joke question right? I'd venture to say where the American membership of this site is concerned, a good majority on this site would fall under the progressive firebrand category, lol.

Agreed. And, yes, that was a bit of a tongue-in-cheek question. πŸ˜‰πŸ˜Š

When you compare him to American politicians in general, he’s just fine……….

Really? So you WOULD vote for him? But to you Trajan voting for someone else seeing how Fetterman obviously isn't well mentally gives you pause? Now that's rich. I'm with Trajan as far as not wanting anyone as far left as Fetterman is being elected. That guy is a total loonie bird. What's worse is he was a loon long before the stroke.

@Captain_Feelgood it’s a moot question since I don’t live in Pennsylvania. This site is kinda lacking in senses of humor……..

No Fetterman has obviously not recovered enough to do a senators job but a lot of Democrap idiots will vote for him as all they care about is the radical democrap agenda. Just like those who voted for Joe Biden.

Oooh,, come on Trajan... Tell us how you really feel. πŸ˜œπŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ˜πŸ‘

@Captain_Feelgood Trajan would vote for someone totally brain dead and on life support if he had an β€˜R’ next to his name.

@Dhiltong Somehow, I doubt that.

@Dhiltong For one thing no brain dead Republican could ever get through the primary like Fetterman did.

@Trajan61
Wouldn’t it be fun to watch a joint news conference with Fetterman and Biden speaking together? Their political speeches together would be shown on Comedy Central.

@CourtJester That would be a good one.
