By the way, I got a Covid booster last Thursday. The only reaction was a sore arm and the next day, I had brain fog. I took a 2.5 hour nap on Friday afternoon and that night, slept ten hours and woke up the next morning feeling great.
I have had two of each, both the AZ and the F. and I found in both cases that there was almost no reaction to the first shot at all, but the second shot made me quite ill for a couple of days. I don't know if that is because the second time your immune system is ready primed, so that it reacts more violently. It is just my hypothesis and could be quite wrong.
My bi-valent booster gave me about the same after effects as the previous shots and boosters. Slightly sore arm and low fever with brain ditziness starting after 12 hours lasting a good 12 hours, luckily I slept through most of that. Within 24 hours, I was good as new.
I got a flu shot and the new COVID booster in early September. A week apart.
Side effects for each vaccine were a low fever, headache and body aches for two days. No big deal.
"Minor side effects are normal signs that the vaccines are working," the nurse said.
That is about my experience.
