I’m in facebook jail for 24 hours and have no idea why. The message says I have violated community standards, but does say how or what post. The response function is not working, so I can’t even complain. They did not pinpoint a post. How do I find out why they THINK I violated standards.
Update: I figured out what was so offensive. There was a joke post in a group about men being dogs. My remark is in the attached image. With all the hate speech I see on fb, I do not understand.

The only reason l stay on FB is so l can share information about when and where we are playing. What l really don't understand is how l get in trouble on FB for sharing something l found on FB. I'm pretty sure many of you people have young children, grandchildren, maybe even some pets who could run FB better than the Zman and his minions do.

I was on a food page on Facebook 10 years ago. They were talking about the best cheesesteak place. That is major talk in Philadelphia. I mentioned a great place, which at that time was called Chick's Steaks. It was the nickname of the old owner and the name of his store. The new owner who worked there for many years, changed the name to Joe's (his name) for obvious reasons. The sandwiches are still awesome. Algorithm picked up my comment two years ago and I was in Facebook jail for a week. Hate speech. Eight year old comment! Zuckerberg's wife is of Chinese descent. I don't know if that is what did it.

They’ve put me in jail and sent me warnings for what I consider ridiculous things as well. Trying to get it reversed has proved to be an exercise in futility. I just try to use more emoticons rather than comment, since they don’t analyze those! 😁 Some of the stuff that goes unchecked amazes me, but not much you can do. I’ve been in FB jail I think three times, the one was for a week! The last was 24 hours..

What amazed me most was the fact that the original post was far more offensive than my comment. I am going to decrease the amount of posts I make in fb, except for recipes I want to save for future use. Mostly, fb serves as my free online recipe tracker, with no storage costs.
