So the world cup is underway in Qatar. Which only got the award only due to corruption. Where the record on human rights is not bad, it simply does not exist. In stadiums and venues built by foreign workers, who are treaded like slaves, many of whom died during the construction, probably due to appalling working conditions and health care, but nobody knows because their death certificates are usually falsified.
But none of that matters, because soccer is important.

Soccer is totally meaningless to me. I wouldn't watch a soccer game if I was paid to do so.
