Looking for recommendations. I'm making it a habit to read at least an hour each night before bed and wanting to find some motivating and inspirational books to absorb. What have you read that has helped you in your journey?

Part of the Joy of reading is finding inspiration in every kind of book, it is in the gift of the great writer to pass on his message in the most unlikely of genres, stories and approaches to even non fiction.
Find writers who speak to you.

Here's a couple that are old favourites of mine, the first is a book of verse and the other is a story/instruction manual for living.

Depends on what you would consider inspirational. I read a little bit of sci-fi and I read some biographies of former Presidents. Sometimes I'll read a little bit of Epicurus or Robert Ingersoll.

I am unable to sleep well unless I read an hour or so first.
But my reading is strictly fantasy, it allows my minds to let got of the real world to I can sleep instead of lying awake thinking. So, I am no help regarding anything inspirational.
