Men created the concept of many Gods or the one God throughout history and in many religions. God did not create men.
Science, as we understand it today, is only 5 or 6 hundred years old. But even if we include proto-scientific thinkers before the scientific revolution, men created the concept of science. Science did not create men.
Science and religion are ways that humans observe, regard, understand, and name the forces that created us. Those understandings change over time.
The collective forces of the universe were once personified as gods or God, and are now often referred to by the name, “physics” or “nature”.
But no matter what names humans give to the forces that created us, or how we regard them… they certainly created us - not we them. They create us - we create descriptions of them. Those descriptions change as our understanding grows.
