Got rather pissed off today at work. I was talking to a female coworker and she was telling me how she had to block the nightshift lead because whenever a new person started in her department he would text her to ask who they were.
Then he asked her if she wanted to engage in sexting with him. And that he has done it to other females. I ended up going to talk to my supervisor about it because even though the coworker that I was talking to said she didn't care I didn't want to not say something then he do it to someone who would feel like they had to do it or possibly lose their job.

Unbelievable that people do this.

Very cool.

Good for you! Those of us who are survivors thank you, and heartfelt props for calling out his behavior, so nobody else must survive it.

Thank you for doing the right thing.

Yes you did the right thing. The company I work for gives a lot of "training" about how to handle situations like that. Sounds like you don't need any training.

You did the right thing. Hope, though, that you were pissed at the situation and the man engaging in the behavior, not the woman who didn’t report it. There are lots of reasons women don’t pursue things like that - most related to self-preservation.

Yes it was completely at the lead and what he was doing.

Thank you for standing up for those who have no voice.
