It doesn't mention Hawaii, so I'll have to look into that before I decide exactly when I'll start drawing on my social security. I will be eligible in the next few months. I'm taxed pretty heavily for my self employment earnings, so it might pay me to semi-retire and start drawing my social security. I need to make an appointment with my local social security office to determine the best path for me.

Illinois charges a premium for Medicare Insurance based on your previous year's income. I'd call that a tax.
