I would delight in dancing on the grave of Vic Bensley, one time headmaster of Hamilton South Public School in NSW, Australia. I would delight even more on dancing on the graves of the vile misanthropes who appointed him to that position.

I do not want to dance on anyone's grave. That includes Donald Trump. I would like to see his grave but there will be no dancing. I would say, however, that "it could not have happened to a nicer man." 🙂

Sorry you will have to enlarge on this before I understand the issue. Who he ?

No worries.

The headmaster of my primary school, one Mr Vic Bensley, was a religious zealot who delighted in ramming his literal interpretation of the Bible down the throats of the impressionable young people who were in his charge. It took me 20 years to rid my mind of the poison that he put there. He went so far as to say that anybody who even doubted the existence of [his] god would suffer in Hell for eternity.

He is in some sense lucky that he is dead. If he was alive today I would reduce him to a quivering wreck in less than two minutes. /@Betty

@anglophone At least it was only his biblical beliefs he was ''ramming down your throats." When I read your first statement....I was afraid it was something ELSE.

@pamagain Emotional and psychological abuse inflicted on children by educators can and has caused long term damage that in some cases have totally destroyed lives.

Your reference to something "ELSE" does not diminish the pain inflicted.

@Betty Nor did I intend to diminish anyone's pain. I was merely telling you my immediate thought.

The Baptist church I was made to attend just LOVED me because I had an excellent memory and would win every contest for memorizing biblical verses. BUT..one day, without thinking, I put my bible on the floor and found myself being CASTIGATED by the minister, because I thought so little of gawd's holy word.

I never went back and still feel humiliated. Not to have a ''my pain's worse than your pain'' contest...this is just to say I understand your feelings. And I'm glad you weren't molested.
