Am I the only one who has gotten to a point of cringing with embarrassment every time Trump starts talking, even though I never voted for him?

He lowers the bar for humanity!

I think to find jus thow far the bar has been lowered may require a major mining operation.

@snytiger6 maybe they could spend some time on that while they’re bringing back coal.

@ArdentAtheist We both know "bringing back coal" is wha tTrump said to make peopel think there woudl be jobs. Coal as an industry may do better, but beign more automated with no new jobs... just more profits.

I can't stand listening to Trump. Whenever I see or hear him I turn it off.

I sent this message to a man who said he supports some of Trump's policies:

"What policies of the Orange Sphincter do you agree with? He doesn't have any "policies" except: bullying, lying, golfing at taxpayer's expense, tweeting, firing people, not reading books or reports, violating the Constitution, putting people down, abusing women, lashing out at anyone who disagrees with him, and building a wall that costs billions and won't work. Republicans slashed Medicaid, food stamps and other safety net programs by $800 billion to give tax breaks to the extremely wealthy. These are greedy, selfish and cruel policies."

You are most definitely not the only one.

I cringe at the sound of his voice, because every time his lips move he's lying. I am too disgusted with him to feel embarrassed anymore.

Certainly not. Whenever he speaks in front of the White House gang , or even when they pan the faces of listeners , just watch their expressions !

You chose what embarrass you.

No. The thing is IMO that trump &Co. are just symptoms of what we've become. We've turned the bottom line into the "highest good". Whenever someone proposes a project that would make life or the world better,it always comes down to"but can we make it profitable?"
When Hillary pointed out that Trump had not paid taxes, his reply was "that makes me a smart business man" and many agreed with him. We've been telling folks that their only value is in the money they can make themselves or others so long and consistently that its become a religion of its own.
If we want to see less trumpism we need to address our skewed values. Western society produced the exact creatures people have been warning about for more than a hundred years. We have to change.

Nah, you're not the only one.
It feels like walking around after someone else shit your pants.

I believe you nailed what it feels like. Although I've never actually experienced that.

I for one agree with you %. He is a huge embarrassment. I wish he would stop talking.
