Last night the internet stopped working so I spent a few hours with my family. They seem nice.
Celebrated last night with a couple of adult beverages …Metamucil and Ensure.
If I am ever on life support unplug me and plug me back in and see if that works.
You know you are getting old when friends with benefits means having someone who can drive at night.
Do you ever wake up in the morning and look in the mirror and
think… “That can’t be accurate.?!
The biggest joke on mankind is that computers have begun asking humans to prove they aren’t a robot.
Now that I have lived through a plague I totally understand why Italian renaissance paintings are full of fat people lying on couches.
For those of you that don’t want Alexa listening in on your conversation they are making a male version….it doesn’t listen to anything.
After my cataract surgery, I won’t need a friend with benefits.
I had that done a few years ago. It's a whole new world
@TheoryNumber3 I understand that colors are brighter
@ADKSparky Everything is brighter and sharper. Driving at night is so much easier. Plus I had monovision correction. My right eye is 20/20, and my left is slightly undercorrected so I can read without glasses. I rarely need to use them unless I'm in dim light or reading very tiny print. It's amazing. I wore glasses, then contacts for 70 years.
@TheoryNumber3 I discovered that I could see blues bordering on ultra-violet.
I also needed sunglasses a lot, because of the increased sensitivity of my eyes and the loss of natural UV blocking. (I live in a very sunny land.)
@Petter I didn't notice any difference in my color perception. It was just nice to not have to wake up in the morning and reach for my glasses. Modern medicine is amazing sometimes. I do have to take special supplements for my eyes because I am on a required medicine that can cause retinal damage. I have a field vision test twice a year to watch for that.
@TheoryNumber3 my wife really noticed the brilliant colors after he cataract surgery. She watercolors as a hobby so color tone is very important. As a retired botanist, my concerns are greens—variations in Leaf and needle colors.
