The question of who won WWII is subjective. The question is: Who lost WWII?

@barjoe You're right. Nobody really wins in any war. Economic loss, human loss, loss of security.... the cost is never zero. The best you can do is to prevent the continuation of atrocities.

@TheoryNumber3 That was not my point. Some claim USA won the war in Europe but others say USSR "won" that war. That's the reason Germany was split between East and West as well as the European Continent. It's what I meant by subjective. Obviously Germany, Italy and Japan surrendered, so they are the ones who lost. The Allies won and Axis Powers lost WWII.

@barjoe Your point wasn't lost on me. I was just saying that there really are no winners after all.

f you google "Who Won WW11" there are a myriad of answers ... Some say the USSR, some say the USA, others say the Allies or the United Forces won.

@TheoryNumber3 We defeated Nazi Germany. I'd say that was a win.

I didn’t remember who killed Hamilton either.

Only had to look up number 5.

Raymond Burr? 😁

@Sticks48 Yeah, Perry Mason.

But who won the American war of 1812?
What about the French war of 1812, immortalised by Tchaikovsky's 1812 overture?
What is manumission?

I know the first, third, and fourth. I don't recall the answer to the second and no clue on the fifth. It's been a long time since I took a history class and it was mostly year after year of Columbus, Pilgrims and the Civil War.

Wasn't sure about the last one. Samuel Adams?

It was the result of a duel, rather than an assassination.

@Barnie2years Did you not see where I said no spoilers please?

@Barnie2years Did Samuel Adams cause him to die from cirrhosis of the liver?

@barjoe drowning by beer bong!
