I thought that was what the FDIC was a insurance policy the banks paid into to guarantee to protect the depositor's money so why are we expected to bail anyone out or is it to protect the bank officers and their fat salaries that we are bailing out.

Banks have been printing money since 1971 stealing the gold standard nothing to back it up We are only afloat by printed bank money. Then fiat currency, oil and petro dallors was once the US back up and world reach for 90% of the planet, now reduce below 50%. Even After all those lost wars in the middle east. US grew to be no 1 oil production anyway.. Then Paris accord put a monkey wrench into that dream and world war 3 has started. Now 90% of people are online, so stay home within our 15 minutes cites.in the future. The Courtyside is labeled toxic environment. Then let the Government and corporationism food and drug cartels take care of you. Not me, I got my own Government, urban farming and tiny house community. @Castlepaloma An American president is not our insurance of anything and drug cartels are not taking care of me. I also do not have my own Government as you claim. So far WW3 has only started between Russia and the Ukraine. I doubt that either of those 2 are printing our money and we have been off the gold standard for some time. Is anything else new and can we decide our fate by who is president or Prime Minister? I doubt it.

I don't vote , so I don’t take stake or stock in their outcome. The last real President said, it's not what your country can do for you, it's what you can do for your country. For me it's healthy food first, freedom and a tiny housing communities. The banks and Government are creating the inflation, financial collapse and wars. I'm ready for anything, most people are not.

@Castlepaloma I live in a 2 bedroom 16 wide mobile home on my half acre of land in a small town community. As an old man I work 2 days a week and also have my Social Security. Freedom and healthy food are it and I could buy a new car outright if I wanted to but I refuse even to finance one. Total system collapse would ruin me but I do not play their games. I'm aware but I do not fear. As an introvert my life is my 5 days a week that I can do my own thing at home privately. My drunken neighbor does not understand that. (Guess I"m like George Thorogood.) Next week they will bring my new dishwasher. I just went to Lowe's and wrote the $928 check last week.

Crypto is gypto, but I did invest in pot once in Canada. ACB did a reverse split and took my money. I watch out for me but you can bet I'll never do that again.
