The Party System is really an acknowledgment of Yin-Yang. Ultimately, both sides will go too far and become its own evil but at that time it's the other side to the rescue. IMO, we are in the time when Yin (Con) energy has gone too far so the cure is to staff Congress and WH with Yang energy (symbolically and in the form of rank choice voting). Until they also go too far the people will be bribed into liking them and that sounds good to me.
