Yeah... imagine what would happen if somebody today included a scene like this in a film.
People have lost their job for minor offenses.

The politically correct, media-exposure-hungry brigade has gone haywire.

@Petter That's often the result of good intentions running wild. Something Andrew Doyle describes very well in his book "The New Puritans"

HAH! I'd forgotten about that one, Petter. You're right...they were ahead of their time, weren't they? Or perhaps they just thought it was far too silly to ever happen???

Whatever the reason, much of their output was brilliantly irreverent. Life of Brian was superb.
