(maybe). Sometimes it’s funny reading the local county police blotter. A few from the latest issue: ”A deputy took a report of a runaway juvenile. The juvenile was later discovered the following day and returned home.”
Later another report, ”A deputy responded to a report of a juvenile problem. The juvenile was reported as being at a different individual’s residence without permission. The deputy obtained a pick-up order, located the Juvenile and brought them home.”
One that bordered on absurdly stupid *”A Lopez deputy responded to a suspicious call. A resident reported that someone has been harassing them and sprinkled white paint on their deck area. The deputy investigated and found the ‘paint’ was actually dropping left by birds.

Arrest that bird!

Sometimes it's funny living in a very rural setting. The police blotter is often a source of humor. Almost anything the police here do has to be documented and one sees a lot of cat out of tree rescues or owner found for a lost dog. Once, a deputy was called to help an owner help a bird escape a garage it had inadvertently flown into.
