I had a near brush with death yesterday while mowing the grass. As I was doing some trimming I caught a glimpse of a rabid squirrel quickly approaching me from my left side. I dropped my trimmer, and took flight across the side yard to escape this evil nemesis. As I started up the front porch steps and turned to face my tormentor, I saw it was an merely an oak leave caught up in a gust of wind….
Good thing for my cat like reflexes, or I might have been in real trouble!?!!
I started reading your post and at first thought that it might be serious (I came about a foot from a rattle snake a few years ago, in a grassy area on my property, and I think back to it sometimes).
It's funny the things our mind can project or quick-hypothesize, especially in what may be an emergency situation.
Right……I swear every time I saw my ex mother in law, that Satan had just walked in the door!!? Hellishly frightening beyond words!!!🫣
Thoughts and those other useless things toward your traumatic recovery. Seriously.
