So, let me get this straight...

You drive across town to a gym to walk on a treadmill?

Sounds funny at first, but in locations where the weather is too cold, too hot, too wet or some other handicap, it makes perfect sense to drive to a workout so one can fit it into a daily schedule. I used to drive to the gym 3 times a week, until decided to save the $50 per month and just exercise from home. Lucky for me I have a walking/biking path right by home plus a pool or ocean for swimming, when I have the time and energy. Not everyone is so lucky, so a drive to an air conditioned or open air gym makes a lot of sense to me!

A good point. But hear me out: our days are already in the 80s, soon to be 100s, so who wants to get all schmutzy while exercising?

Same as driving to play golf, use a golf cart, end it with beers in the 19th hole.

.... and then, exhausted, sit down and order a beer

........Or two.....
