Happy Mother's Day to all who celebrate it! My son and I are about to embark on the first leg of a trip through New England, to see friends and relatives. There will be mountains, hiking, and black flies too numerous to count. All fun.

We're staying in Vernon, CT tonight, then traveling to Concord, MA tomorrow. I think Mystic is SE of there? My son has to find a place to stay near Hartford, because he has a summer internship. He put finding a place off till the last second. 
Mystic ??? Oh wow . I did not know u live near there ms Annie . Wow . That’s one of my favorite little towns in usa . The whole state and area are beautiful to me , I drove from Virginia Beach to Portland Maine twice the last 10 yrs , and stoped in mystic in purpose , just loved .
@Organist1 He could stay for free in my tiny RV in the driveway if he needs to...it has electicity and running water but it would be 50 miles to Hartford (real good roads and never crowded, a forgotten branch of the Interstate in fact.)
