"The United States will be better off if Donald Trump does not become the presidential nominee of the Republican Party. His continued support of violent insurrectionists forever renders him unfit to participate in our elections; anyone would be better on the ticket than Trump, and that includes DeSantis. But DeSantis has learned from Trump that winning the GOP nomination is not about policy; it’s about playacting. He knows that the primary faithful want rallies and revenge, costumes and chaos."

I prefer DeSantis myself but will support and vote for Trump over any screwball democrap!!

Isn't it about time the GOP picked some candidates that were not crap at their job*, traitors**, or just plain loony tunes? Now I do think the Dems have very weak candidates as well but not criminally so.
Anyone who still supports MAGA is to quote 45 himself "Suckers and losers"

*Look t DeSantis's actual job performance in Florida. Do you think all those kidnapping immigrants, attacking gays/trans, libraries and Disney are not designed to distract from his abysmal performance as governor? Do your own research at look at how many Floridians got left without power and for how long after the last hurricane.
**Jan 6th, If you support Trump, you might as well go into your front yard and piss on your flag.

@273kelvin Biden is the biggest crook we’ve ever had in the White House! If DeSantis is doing such a terrible job how come he won by an overwhelming majority and also how come so many New Yorkers are moving to Florida?

@Trajan61 Oh, did Biden use Russian intelligence sources to get elected? Did he try extorting a foreign leader for political dirt using government-allocated funds? Is Hunter Biden on his White House staff? Did he get 2 billion bucks from Saudi? Has Biden tried to get the G8 to meet in his hotel? Has he ensured that no one gets to see him if they didn't stay at his hotel? Is he a 6-times bankrupt? Is he banned from running any charity in NY state? Did Biden have to fork out $25 million over his fake university scam? Is Biden renting out empty office space at huge rates to his political campaign so he syphons money out of it? Has Biden advertised beans sitting behind the oval office desk? Has Biden had more staff go to jail than any other administration? (and that is without all the pardons) Did Biden claim his property was 3,000 sq ft instead of the true I,100 sq ft? Has Biden's chief financial officer just got out of Rikers? Has he scammed $250 million over a fake gofundme? Did he pardon a convicted thief who scammed his own supporters out of millions and then invite them back to be part of his inner circle? Has he scammed $250 million off a fabrication? (btw that is doing fabrications a disservice) Has he tried to extort a Lt Governor of Georgia to "find him 11780 votes"? (try that shit at your local bank and see how quickly they call security) Has Biden tried to overturn the legitimate govt of America, thus breaking his oath of office? Did Biden sit watching TV and playing pocket billiards for 3 hours when a crowd of insurrectionists that he sent there were kicking the shit out of capital police? Considering that Trump had the most corrupt administration since Harding (and that is close) I would not be calling anyone else a crook and certainly not the biggest.
And before you came back with any more Faux Gnus bs. Remember when they told you that Domminion rigged the election? You have 787.5 million reasons not to believe them again.
Oh sorry, I did not realise that DeSantis is why New Yorkers go to live in Florida. Oh my, I must have missed that bit on the bus in "Midnight Cowboy" (btw Florida is pretty much mid-average of GDP, crime, education etc. at around 25 on the table)

  • Not actual dirt mind you just start an investigation so it looks like there is dirt.
** The "Save America Pact" or "Stop the Steal" had $250 million in donations and you can bet it did not spend much on lawyers considering they lost 62 out of 63 cases.
*** The guy set out with this scam in mind. He openly said "If I lose it's rigged" before any vote was cast. His AG Bill Barr told him it was not rigged. Everybody else with any credibility told him it's not rigged. He hired 2 private investigating firms at $100,00 & £300,00 each out of his own money and they told him it was not rigged.

The United States, and the Republican party would be better off.

DeathSantis is just as bad!

MizJ Level 8 May 26, 2023

They are entirely different.

Both Trump and DeSantis are far better than that piece of shit senile misfit we have in the White House right now!!

Overwhelmingly horrifically BAD!!!

@Trajan61 Our current senile piece of shit has done a remarkable job so far. Hasn't grabbed any pussies we know about. Repairing HUGE amounts of damage. And I could go on, but it would be a waste of my time.

@mischl Even if Uncle Joe had two terms it wouldn't be enough time to fix all the damage. Repairing the institutions may be easier than fixing the minds of the cult members.

@MizJ By the time Joe has finished his two terms, our delightful VP will have eight years of experience in top level governance. Can you guess what I'm thinking?

@mischl There's too much misogyny in this country for that to work.

@MizJ Ah yes, BUT...remember how close we were with Hillary!

@mischl I would be surprised if any woman got nominated.

@mischl If you think Biden is doing a good job you must be living in a dream world! What about this record high inflation? Don’t you think the democrap agenda had a lot to do with that?

@Trajan61 You're putting words in my mouth by assuming that I am a Biden fan. I am not. I am registered as an Independent for a reason.

We have been divided in two so that we may be conquered...divide and conquer.

@MizJ I'm simply comparing how the job is being managed now to how it was handled by the former guy. What I see now is a huge improvement. (But then, I don't watch Fox, so I don't have the same misinformation lots of other people have.)

@mischl Indeed. No one has been indicted! [pbs.org]

You might find this interesting. No surprises, but it does show the misogyny in our society.
