This is my new best friend sort of.

It's a foam roller although this particular one is extra firm deep tissue. Wow, I lay my back on this thing for 3 to 5 minutes and then struggle to get back up. Once I do finally get standing I can't help but to stand up straight. Heck, I sat down and could feel my spine compact after having done that roller. I've always been fairly skinny and my muscles are wound really tight. This roller really helps. It's the best self massage I've ever had in terms of loosening tight muscles.

If you think about doing it I'd go with something softer to start with.

In my experience, self-massages alone won't directly lead to weight loss, but they can be a nice addition to an overall healthy lifestyle. They can help with relaxation and stress relief, which indirectly may contribute to better weight management. Personally, I love using foam rollers for my muscles after workouts. I recently found the best massage parlor on opgood.net and shared my awesome experience there!

Do these self-massages help to lose weigh?

It's awesome to hear that you've found a new best friend in your foam roller. Extra firm deep tissue ones can really work wonders for tight muscles. It's amazing how just a few minutes on the roller can make such a difference, right? That feeling of standing up straight after using it is so satisfying. If you're interested in exploring more self-massage options, you might want to check out percussion massager for sciatica. Worth a try. After my Friday medical exam I find that my height is now 5 foot 7 and a half inches and I am compacting but still weigh 250 lbs. They claim I am "morbidly obese" so are they going to star me in a horror movie? Once upon a time I was a weightlifter.
