I have never seen any advertisement here. What am I doing wrong

After not having access for two months, it's been a joy to get back here but, like you, I know the demise is imminent if changes aren't made. No fixes seem to have been done other than the security certificate so messaging still isn't working for me, and other features seem to be degrading.

That said, I include my thanks to you and everyone else who's made this such an interesting and supportive respite from the real world.

I could not even get logged into the site. Sticks48 messaged me on FB the site was back up and running.
I want to know if the messaging is working.
Care to send me a message and see if I get it?

Yep, it's a ghost town now, but with unsolicited ad posts. I sure miss the whole site. I think often of topics I'd like to run past our members, or advice on events I'd rather not share with people I actually know. A few people reached out to connect through FB, but it's mostly just recirculating memes, not the deeper supportive discussions that were fostered here. Sad to see it end, so I keep checking back once a week to see if somehow the site gets resurrected or moved to another server or something. Wishful thinking.

I've enjoyed this site so much! If I could, I'd give all these advertisers a big virtual kick in the pants! I certainly will actively avoid any of the crap they're selling.
