Agnostic people claim that gods and religions are not necessaire to become good humans. I agree with that. But we need other sources of wisdom.Books, traditions, education. What's on the market for that goal? Someting wich I wonder about is why the world is like it is. Wich power is the engine of it. Is it the force of desire that keeps everyting moving, growing, and takes care for the reproduction of all living beings? I think so. But desire is also a force wich can lead to suffering, angriness, and crimes. Desire is also the motor of the economy. But I believe that the worldwide economies destroy the planet, and make a lot of people sick. So, is there too much desire in the world. Do we have to control our desires better?

"Man's Search for Meaning" by Viktor Frankl is a good book.

[dailystoic.com] is a website worth visiting

I personally think that desire itself is not bad, it's the inability to let go--the insistence on ownership. The big bang is the force that drives it all. All motion and energy comes from that. Our little minds try to direct things, but often we're not very good at it.

What about wise older people who have been there, done that. Talk to your seniors ?

Why wonder when you can just get on with living?
