Big difference between empathy and fat, lazy, uneducated 25 year olds that would rather cry in the streets for attention than work for a living.

Great quote, and possibly correct , but I think that the term was originally at least quite the opposite. And meant someone who could not do empathy, because they were too selfish to face pain.
