Well I am getting tired of the believers that insist that to be a non-believer is a "religion". They insist that we are a group that has regular meetings, we reconize each other on the street, we have a secret handshake, we believe in free sex, among other things.
We are just normal folks we grow up we marry, we have kids, we work, we play, we vote. But most of all we don't try to "convert" anyone, we don't push our non-beliefism on anyone, we don't demand that religion is bad but we do believe that many religious leaders and members are corrupt.
So the next time you hear or read evil atheist remind them by saying "Inquestion", Crusades, ISIS, just a few of the holer than thou hypocrates. Mean while no where in history did Atheist, Agnostics, Humanist, mass murder any one

So did the Spanish Inquisition, the Crusades, the Holy Roman Empire, The Spanish explores when forcing the conversion of the natives in Central and South America.
BTW Stalin was educated in a seminary, Hitler considered his political Empire a religious movement.
I'm surprised you didn't know about the secret handshake. My childhood religious friend thinks that by me being an atheist on an agnostic site that I'm "covering myself on both ends." I guess that means his view is somewhat like Pascal's Wager but for non-believers.

When I get that "atheism is a belief/religion" nonsense, I look around like I'm Secret Squirrel about to impart secret plans, stare them dead in the eye, wink, tap the side of my nose twice & whisper, "clitterati" & give them a slight smile & nod & walk away. I am not engaging in a battle of wits with an unarmed asshat.

@SallyMc that is already being used by another group ... I know how abt intertwining fingers then looking the other way while winking at each other and issuing a warbling sound much like a hawk or a ground hog (i don't know which) and declaring that pizza is the staff of life but with anchovies and no pineapple.
OH...they'll tell you about Hitler, Stalin and Pol Pot being atheists....but it's not true. All were raised in religion. Guess it got in the way of their agendas?
