Pentagon fails yet another audit, but they don't care as they answer to none.
Quick solution? Tear up the Patriot Act, which they wrote and had prepared before 9/11 (you don't write complex legislation in a couple of weeks, when it was enacted).
Also remember on 8/11, Rumsy announced they couldn't account for 2 trillion odd, US debt was only 5.8 trillion back then [investopedia.com] Over 33 trillion now.

When I served theft and corruption were pretty much out in the open, I doubt it's gotten any better.

They have got better at it. Talking very big money here.

@puff WW2 was insanely profitable to American war profiteers, their factories weren't getting bombed, and they've kept us at war since. Biggest gravy train in history.

@Druvius War profiteers sell to all sides in a conflict. This has went on for a very long time.

@DenoPenno Yes, but never have war profiteers been able to continue endless war spending for 75 years and counting after the war was over.
