At 75 I do post on sites like Tinder, POF, etc. but almost all females are turned off when thy see my age. I feel like I am 10 yeas younger then I am.
Yes I look and feel 65 or so. Do you think I should post my age as 10 years younger to find finally a girlfriend?

Lying only works of you have no intention of actually meeting and getting to know someone ... OR if you truly are exceptionally well kept , and can back up your claim .

The truth will surface one way or another !

A like especially for the 'OR' portion of your comment.

There are dating sites specifically for people over 50...you might want to give them a look.

Why won't you date women your age? 52-61? Only if you're Hugh Hefner.

No honesty is best policy. I met someone from Agnostic long distance that did not use updated pics so I didn't recognize him at the airport when he came to greet me. Also being honest about your health is important. I tell everyone I am a cancer survivor and sometimes they will have more health issues than I do. I do think I need to update my bio as I just started using Medical Cannabis and I'm being perceived as a stoner. I don't look my age either but I tell people I date men younger than me. No I would not make myself 10 years younger on

"Looking for girlfriend between 52 and 61." Dream on.

Most men believe they look years younger. They see themselves as young bucks.

"I can do one-handed pushups," a 60 year-old man bragged.

"Really?" I replied, impressed. "That's incredible. Show me a one-handed pushup." Sheepishly, he admitted the last one he did was at age 17.

"I have natural upper body strength," older men brag. "I don't need to lift weights." Then they remove their shirts. It looks like their upper body is melting with sagging flesh, slack muscles and stringy tendons. Ugh.

I look my age. I am 56. The stuff around my waist...uh...cellulite, maybe? Ah, let's just it fat. OK, love handles. I can live with that.

On the plus side, a curious development is (do I dare say this on here?)...uh....certain things take longer, which I would think might be a selling point. No longer a one-minute wonder. Yay!

On the negative side, I still have the emotional maturity of a much younger man. Not a perfect world...

Good job with the skepticism in demanding evidence to expose those bogus claims. It's amusing that tales so far fetched would even be attempted. That said, it is very much within the realm of possibility to live up to such claims at such advanced age given proper care.

Only if you are not going to be a hypocrite about it. If you are going to state you want to meet women 14 years or more younger than you as ProudMerry pointed out, then complain when women dismiss you because of your age, ain't that the pot calling the kettle black!

No. Bad idea. Unfortunately men don't live as long as women, and at 75, I would think you would be in great demand for women around your age, providing you're not a tool. I'd pass on the Tinder and POF sites and look into Meetup.com for local interest groups. You'd be surprised at the age range of some of the agnostic / freethought / atheist groups that meet.

Honesty is ALWAYS best.

NO.

Most of us think that we look and feel 10 years younger. I agree with others that you would be more likely to find someone if you look around your age.

Sites like Tinder and Plenty of Fish seem to be awful places to meet people. You would be much better off finding local interests and hobbies where you meet new people and make new friends and from there find someone with a shared interest in common who likes that twinkle in your eye 🙂

No, don't do that. Be true to yourself. I'm 75 too, and female. I've long given up looking for a mate - men think that at my age, we women are past it, not true. It's a lonely but uncompromised life.

I'm ancient as well, and trying to make these years fun, if unattached. Anyone know of a older single group built around art, concerts, lectures, day trips etc? NYC locale.

honest,
but
what age range are you looking at in women?
If you are looking 10 years younger than yourself,
would should also be looking 10 years older as well.
Some ladies can also be very young at heart.
What if you contacted a lady who said she was 62 and later you found out she was 75?

1

No, don't lie. I'm just a little younger than you, and a number of women in their early 30s want me to get a divorce and marry them. I'm not making it up.

Yes you are.

It is amazing to me too, but I'm really not! I could give you names, but that would not be gallant.

3

No, I think being honest is best. If they don't give you a chance due to your age, they probably aren't worth your time anyway.

2

Never lie to suit other people my friend, if your not good enough it is their fault, not yours.
