Sadly this epithet has ruined the lives of a number of perfectly pleasant women of my acquaintance who happen to have been named Karen or Caron

I had one who insisted on interrupting me to ask a question when I was in conversation with a supermarket employee about a faulty can of shaving cream. Didn’t understand the concept of politely waiting for her turn.

She clearly thought that her selfish, rude entitled time was far more important than mine. Totally ignored my disapproving stare.

If that occurs again, will make my displeasure known verbally. Stares don’t work with these unpleasant people.
