Who else finds it strange that two opposing theist states; Israel (the Jewish state) and Saudi Arabia (Wahhabist Islam and home of Mecca/ Medina) are allies against another theist state Iran (Islam)?

I find it quite bizarre that these 2 traditional opposing ideologies, Judaism (Jewish) and Sunni (Muslims), are ganging up on Shiite (also Muslims).

I wonder what Muslims think of it all..........

I don't really expect anything regarding religion to actually make sense.

Religious differences are usually only the stated excuses for wars. Usually there is a financial goal to be achieved behind almost every war.

I don't know what to believe anymore. They are all Semites.

Are Iranians semitic?

All Muslims and Jews I thought were Semites

You forgot the other "great" theocracy of the world, the USA, with its "In God we trust", bibles in courtrooms, God bless America, prayer day etc, not forgetting its contribution of umpteen sects such as the Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses, 3rd day Adventists, Christian Scientists etc., etc, all of them invented by little americans who could not bear having a religion not Made in USA ! As for the alleged opposites you cite, they all worship exactly the same god!
