Philosophically it will end when people generally overcome their universal desire to be self serving, greedy, avaricious, acquisitive, with their own altruism

That’s kinda the hard thing to do. I wish we could eradicate it. Which makes me thing if suffering is eradicated we wouldn’t know the value of Joy

Greed is almost a part of animal species so I don’t agree with that. What I do agree with is the sadism you stated. The world could be brighter. Really bright.
